It's that time of the year

Today we reached a high of 70 degrees and it was gorgeous, for a little while.

The clouds rolled in and the weather radio started going off pretty regularly. We've been under severe thunderstorm warnings, tornado watches, and now we're under a blowing snow advisory.

We've been blessed with raging winds, hard rain, pea-size hail, and now sleet. I'm not complaining though.

Guess what that means? It's spring-time in Western Oklahoma!

...Hello Aunt Jo! We have the same thing here too... It was beautiful out yesterday with a high of 75 and now today we have schools closing early due to a pending snow storm!... Oh well, keeps ya on your toes! lol ;o)

...And you have a daffodil popping out already?! Ours haven't even peeked their leaves out yet - congrat's on that refreshing sign of Spring! It is coming right?...

...And I love what you did to your sewing room with the drying rack and the washer/wringer - very pretty! You have a nice collection of textiles going on there too... :o)

...Blessings...

We had all kinds of warnings and stuff here in SW Oklahoma too. Less than a half inch of rain and only a few flakes of snow. Love the daffodill.

TJ, I'm having doubts about spring right now. It's so flipping cold and windy I just want to hide under the covers until June.

Thank you for the sweet compliment on the sewing room.

schnauzermom, I think we got about an inch and the sleet didn't amount to anything at all.

We had a 70's weekend too only to wake up to snow today and it's still blowing! What a tease! Hope your all safe. Love the sewing room, it's coming along just fine!
