It's done

Hallelujah! Unfortunately we had some casualties. The sander and the shop vac both bit the dust. Literally. Rest in pieces.

Today I've spent some quality time with a broom and dust pan. I'm so glad my granny taught me how to sweep.

In other news, I took the trim to the wood man and he's making me 98 feet of trim to match the original stuff. It should be ready in two weeks. Hopefully I'll be ready for it.

I thought, "Wow! That is a an unusual graying pattern!" Then I realized what I was looking at! LOL So glad you finished with the sanding! I want to know how you keep stray hairs and dust and blowing lint off the floor once you apply the stain? I ask for future reference because last time I did a floor that was a big problem area for us. Sigh...

I can't wait to see the end result either!
