Well, that was interesting

About 3:30 a storm popped up out of no where.

We had hard driving rain.
So hard the gutters couldn't handle it.
The streets couldn't handle it either. Several places in town have pavement that buckled.
This fence is just barely handling it. Their backyard is almost completely under water.

And then, the wind blew. And it blew some more. Finally, it was done and this is what it left behind.

This is the neighbor across the alley. He lost his big old tree.
This is what's left of The Mark's sign. It landed on Main Street in the middle of four lanes.
Here's part of an interstate exit sign. I wonder where the rest of it is?

Oh look! Here it is. Whew! I thought we might have lost it for good.
This is my favorite. This poor truck was minding it's own business when all of the sudden an out of control storage building crossed the parking lot, hitting him broadside.
Excuse me while I go count my blessings.

Wow you got a whopper of a storm there. We were supposed to get severe weather but it pooped out before it got to us and we just got a little rain.

Don't ya love Oklahoma summers???

We had lots of rain and cool lightening strikes & rolling thunder, but nothing serious. For once!

Wow! I didn't even hear about this but I guess I would have needed to watch the news if I were going to. We got a good old fashioned thunderstorm but that's about it. Glad you are all safe.

Danetta, there wasn't any mention of our storm on the news. Out here on the western side of the state is akin to being in a foreign country when it comes to news.
