Is today a circle, square, or triangle?
I scratched out a calendar in the laundry room yesterday just to get a feeling for what's going on and why I'm feeling overwhelmed. Don't you just love chalkboard paint? I do.
I circled all of the dates for tests at school. All of the days that something important is happening are squared. Days that I have out-of-the-ordinary obligations got a triangle. This doesn't count the stuff that's going to come up between now and graduation.
In some ways it helps to get an idea of the big picture, because then I know where I'm at in this grand scheme. On the other hand, it can be intimidating.
I think I'm better off knowing whether it's a circle, square, or triangle kind of day.

Wow! I'd be afraid to do something like that. I've grown accustomed that feeling of impending doom....
I'm tried just from reading your post. There are times when I really don't want to know what's going to happen.
Maybe your spring break wasn't long enough? LOL I want to do a wall in my new craft room with chalkboard paint, once we move, was it hard? I think the grandkids would love this as much as I would! Hope you find your way out of this funk soon! Hugs!!
I bought a can of chalkboard paint and I'm going to make a big chalkboard today.
Suzanne, let me know how it turns out.
