Baby, it's cold outside
It's a whopping 10 degrees right now. I'm glad I can stay in and don't have to get out in it. It seems to be especially slick this morning. DH went down the driveway almost sideways. Yikes!
Yesterday I stayed in and had kept warm with many cups of tea and one too many cups of coffee. I evidently have caffeine overload because I haven't been to bed yet. I've painted, scrubbed the floors, and cleaned the kitchen, but haven't slept. Of course now that it's time to be up and moving my old eyes are getting heavy. It probably wouldn't take much for me to have a little nap.
I hope everyone is having a marvelous Wednesday. Stay warm and safe out there.

We have now been closed for 2 1/2 days at my day job and we never close. Even my night job where the only days closed are Thanksgiving and Christmas Day has closed early so I haven't worked there either the last 2 days. I am not complaining - I needed a break!! It took me a little over an hour to break the 1 1/2" of ice from my car late yesterday and came in to find that we would be closed today too. Again, not complaining - had I not done that, we would have had work and I would have had to do it at 5 AM. That tea looks very inviting. I hope you are taking a nap.
We were at 10 degrees this morning too, almost to 22 now. I'm drinking more hot drinks too, making a pot of coffee now to help me finish organizing my craft room. This is day 2 of being iced in and it looks like at least one more? But, we still have power and all is good!
Wow - cold cold - we have finally shed our snow - and are back to more normal temps in the 40s in the PNW. But I'm still drinking a lot of tea to keep warm and cozy.
Hope you are sleeping while we type.
73 degrees here today, but now the temp is dropping back into the range of normal.
Your tea looks so yummy.
At least you got lots of work done.
I wish I could find some energy for some cleaning around here.
