Week 1 is done.
I have to admit I'm not totally happy with it. I have the hardest time getting those little points to match up in the corners.
I finally started lining it up, pinning it down, and taking a couple of stitches to secure it. Then I'd take a look and if it wasn't right, I'd rip out the few stitches and try again.
I'll look at it again tomorrow and if I'm still unhappy with it I'll do it over.

That is such a beautiful rich color. I love it.
Maybe it's just that you're a great photographer, but it looks darn near perfect from where I'm sitting! I would say not to rip it out, but if it's going to always bother you, then go for it. And wasn't the quilt-a-long posted, like, 5 minutes ago? You're FAST! : )
Very pretty! I have a lot of trouble lining up the points too. I try to get them as close as possible. Never perfect though.
...Very pretty! I'm with 'john adams', I don't see anything wrong - it looks perfect!
...Do you pre-treat your fabrics to try and control color bleeding before you start a quilting project? Just curious if you do and if so, what do you use...
...Great job!
...Blessings... :o)
Thank you all for the sweet comments.
TJ, I wash it in the washer and hang it to dry. That's it.
I looked at this earlier today and couldn't believe you are already finished with block one. I read your post and I looked at your photo. What can you possible find wrong with this block woman? I am starting to get scared to start this quilt a long.
Danetta, please do it.
I'm too picky is all. I want it to be perfect, but since I'm not there's no chance of it being perfect.
