It's a new week

DH brought me this nest. It was once the home of a family of Orioles. I thought it was sweet of him to think of me when he saw it on the ground.

The job fair stunk or maybe I'm too picky. I don't want to do shift work at the dog food plant and I don't want to work in a casino. I'd really like to use my degree if possible. Something is bound to come along sooner or later. At least I'm working on being employed.

In the meantime, I guess I could clean house. Tomorrow I'll channel Donna Reed, Harriet Nelson, and June Cleaver and whip this house into shape. Since I don't have pearls, Mardi Gras beads will have to suffice. I have the apron and heels covered. Wish me luck.

I hope you find a job where you can use your degree! I'd leave off the heels, your feet will thank you.

Hi,
I just stumbled upon you from web pictures and it looks like we have some things in common! I am an unemployed biologist in California and am using my free time to work on two blogs. My degree is in botany and I have worked for over 13 years in biological consulting in the SF Bay area, but with housing collapse I've got nothin now. Not good news for biologist in general around here. Hope you have better luck.

I am running an apron appreciation site you may like as well as a "nature" oriented essay blog. Maybe you want to stop by some time?

We have a lab position open? I need some sane people like me to work with!!!

I channel Roseanne Barr, Debbie Mumm, and on a rare day, Betty Crocker.

I will be praying something great comes to you very soon.

Your right Jo, something will come along sooner or later, in the meantime, at least your staying productive and using your time at home to do all those things you put off while in school. Enjoy your time at home.
