
Project #8 is three card tricks blocks. I had thought about doing the baby quilt in this pattern, but I did enough to know it's not happening. This project is as done as it's going to get at this point.

Both projects were made with materials on hand. The flannel was left over from making sleep pants for kids and blocks were made from remnants and a huge piece of fabric from a thrift store in Cordell.

Great job getting more stuff done, Aunt Jo! I think I'll make some of those ice pack covers as well - they'll make great additions to Christmas gift packages, and they'd be a great way to use up scraps :)
Your card trick blocks are really pretty - maybe you could make a tablerunner out of the 3 blocks you've completed - just throw on a border or two! Just a thought!
I'm a thrift store shopper too - love finding bargains and reusing/repurposing fabrics :)
