Can you believe it's almost September? Time flies when you're working and having fun.
I like my job. There's been a very small learning curve and I think I've mastered it. I can't really talk about where I work, but let's just say it's interesting and I had forgotten what a pleasure it was to work with a bunch of women. The pleasure part, that's totally a joke. There's lots of gossip, dirty looks at various persons, and whispers behind the hand. I think we might need spankings and timeouts. Classes in how to treat the public are also needed.
It took a full week for the girl there the longest to get the pecking order worked out. She's not happy with the order, but she started it, not me. I'm an old fart and won't be walked on.
I haven't done any crafting lately. At most, I get home from work and do as little as possible before bedtime. I have been reading, but then again, I'm always reading.
Mom is doing well. At least that's what she tells me. I don't get to see her much, but do try to check on her everyday. She goes for her checkup next week.
I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to catch up on everybody very soon.

I am so glad to see your post today. I've been wondering how your job is going for you. Not a fan of office backbiting and jockeying for position. Glad you stood your ground. Can't wait to hear more!!!
I too have been wondering about you, didn't know you got a job, did a miss a post? I hope it gets better for you, hang in there!
So glad to see you here today! I miss the days when I was the only "girl" at my job. What a zoo working with women can be.
Good to hear your mom is doing well too.
Working with women can be really silly. I'm glad you're not letting anyone run over you.
I like working with my guys over the girls anyday!

Hey, you haven't posted anything on this blog for a long time, I wonder if you're still around??
I found your blog because I bought an old Pfaff 130 at an estate sale. I just really fell in love with the cabinet and how the chair fits into it and becomes invisible. It came with a booklet so I was able to thread it but the bobbin is a real bear to get to and the booklet isn't very descriptive on that. Nor some of the other stuff. I was looking for someone who had one so I could ask some questions. I'm in OK too, Bartlesville, so northeastern part.
Anyway if you're still around stop in at visitwithgrandma.blogspot.com and holler at me, 'K? --Ilene
HEY! Send me an email sometime!
